Several weeks have passed since Northside’s annual homecoming celebration, yet echoes of its wonder still resound throughout the halls of Northside College Prep. This year’s homecoming celebration was organized through the Pep Club and Student Council, showcasing the school’s Mustang pride with Spirit Week and Fall Fest
The highlight of the celebration week was the homecoming dance on October 24, 2025. The theme for this year’s dance was “Tangled” inspired by the movie Tangled.
The gymnasium was transformed with flashing lights , vivid decorations, and music by DJ GreenBeen. By the end of the night, students like Senior Marie Campbell said, “The dance was excellently done,” and junior Luis Delgado shared that he created more “unforgettable memories.”

Here are some student highlights of the homecoming celebration!

Freshman Nahum Araya said, “My favorite moment of the homecoming dance was when the mosh pit formed and people started jumping into and on top of each other. It was a really new experience to me, but it was enjoyable to participate in and interact with its energy.”
Sophomore Zola Kuzwayo said, “ I love homecoming week, as everybody is talking about plans, along with the tension building and the excitement for the Homecoming dance.”

Junior Luis Delgado said, “My favorite part of Homecoming week is the day of the dance in the morning and a little bit before the dance when all the student council members, including me, were preparing decorations for homecoming. It’s amazing spending time with my fellow student council members and also making sure that every student at Northside enjoys Homecoming.”
Senior Marie Campbell said, “I loved how engaged the DJ was with the audience, making sure everyone had a great time—especially with the light up sticks which I really enjoyed.”
