This 2025- 2026 school year, Northside College Preparatory High School is pleased to welcome Ms. Annu Kuply as our new psychologist. She is an incredibly valuable addition to the school, as her role advances students’ psychological well-being and promotes a positive environment within the school community.
Since joining the Northside community, Ms. Kuply has felt an abundance of kindness and warmth extended to her by both teachers and students of Northside.
While observing the school, she was awed “to see the students so engaged with the instruction and work and to witness the dedication of the amazing faculty.”
When asked how she handles difficult situations, she explained, “Take a moment to pause and breathe. I practice various forms of breathing techniques, and my favorite technique is the 5-finger breathing method because of how easy it is. You trace along your fingers: inhaling as you go up and exhaling as you go down. This is a straightforward exercise that can help calm the mind and improve focus.”
Outside of school, Ms. Kuply is passionate about photography. A skill she developed through the joy of her photography club during her high school years. As an adult, she continues to enjoy photography by “capturing special moments like engagement proposals, weddings, and a variety of other meaningful events.”
Ms. Kuply is thrilled to be a part of the Mustang family. Driven by the values of kindness, empathy, compassion, and commitment to advocacy, she looks forward to collaborating with Northside’s students, faculty, and staff to continue to help foster positivity in the Northside community.
