Most students may not know anything about Northside’s security staff beyond their name.

Northside’s dedicated security staff members are always on the lookout for our wellbeing, serving as mentors and problem solvers who help to create the environment in which we can learn and grow without worry.

Ms. Chatiqua Simpson-Curry

Ms. Simpson-Curry is on front desk duty starting at 7 am every morning! Make sure to stop by and say hello if you have the chance. 

She enjoys bowling and comes from a family of “skilled bowlers.”

Mr. Andrew Mayer

Mr. Mayer’s front desk shift is mid-day, working it daily from 11 am to 12 pm. 

His favorite parts of his security staff job are getting to see students “big smiles” and “hanging out with Myron,” his coworker. He started working at Northside in its very first year, serving as NCP’s soccer coach. A year later, he joined the security staff.

Mr. Myron Boyd

Mr. Boyd arrives at Northside at 6 am every morning, taking his front desk shift around 9 am. 

Mr. Boyd is one of seven siblings and is a talented musician, playing the piano beautifully. He even has music on Spotify! Go check it out!

Ms. Natasha Ward

Ms. Ward is at Northside’s front desk starting at 2:30 pm. Greeting students each day makes her day.

She loves her job and is deeply invested in the education of every student. Once you talk to her you realize she has an open spirit!
