This month, we spotlight Ms. Noa Solomon-Auger, our College and Career Counselor in the Northside counseling department.
Having worked in education since college, Ms. Solomon-Auger brings five years of full-time experience in the postsecondary realm. She chose this path because she wanted to support students without the pressure of grading. “I love being part of a pivotal transitional moment for students,” she explains. “It’s rewarding to provide guidance during such an important time in their lives.”
What brings Ms. Solomon-Auger the most joy in her role at Northside? It’s the students’ aspirations. “I love hearing students share their hopes and dreams!” Her office is a welcoming space for those seeking advice or reassurance.
Beyond counseling, Ms. Solomon-Auger embraces hobbies such as cooking, baking, reading, and knitting. These activities provide a creative outlet and a comforting way to connect with others.
When Halloween rolls around, Ms. Solomon-Auger has a fun tradition with her twin sister. “If we’re in the same place, we’ll dress up as each other!” This playful spirit showcases their close bond and love for lighthearted fun.
