Sabona Abdi, Web Design Director
Sabona Abdi is a junior at Northside College Prep. At school, he is a member of The Hoofbeat, Black Student Union, and the basketball team. Outside of school, he takes college-level math and computer science courses at Northeastern Illinois University. In his free time, he enjoys playing the saxophone, biking, and spending time with his friends.
Kieran Fitzgerald, Staff Writer (Student Life)
Kieran is a senior at Northside and is excited to expand the Hoofbeat's coverage of Student Life. He also hopes to delve into podcasting in some way through the Journalism class. He's on the varsity golf and baseball teams as well as in a variety of other clubs and activities at the school.
Ellis Korda, Staff Writer (News)
Ellis is a sophomore at Northside and a staff writer for The Hoofbeat. He is very involved with journalism at Northside, and is the co-president of Journalism Club and part of NCPTV. He is also a member of the tennis team and the chess team, involved with the NCP Green Team, a board member of Ping Pong Club, and a board member of Chess Club. Outside of school, he enjoys playing sports, wildlife photography, and taking care of his guinea pigs and fish. He is always keeping up with politics and sports news. He is looking forward to continuing to write for the newspaper this year. #vegetarian
