February Madness: 4 College Basketball Games to Watch this Month

While March Madness is still over a month away, college basketball season is in full swing and has plenty of drama and excitement to offer. From a chance at records being broken to getting to see the game’s biggest stars, here are four must-watch games:

1.

League: NCAAM (Men’s College Basketball)

Matchup: UConn Huskies vs. Marquette Golden Eagles

Date: Saturday, February 17 at 2:00 PM

TV: FOX

Preview: Watch two of the top teams in the nation vie for a win in a crucial Big East Conference matchup. The defending national champions, UConn, will play host to top ten Marquette. The two teams are at the top of the Big East standings, with UConn leading the conference.

League: NCAAM (Men’s College Basketball)

Matchup: Purdue Boilermakers vs. Ohio State Buckeyes

Date: Sunday, February 18 at 12:00 PM

TV: CBS

Preview: The Boilermakers, who sit at the top of the Big Ten Standings and are a favorite to take home the national championship, take on a tough Ohio State team. Purdue is led by 7-foot-4-inch Zach Edey, the tallest player in Big Ten history and reigning National Player of the Year.

Matchup: Indiana Hoosiers vs. Iowa Hawkeyes

Date: Thursday, February 22 at 7:00 PM

TV: Peacock

Preview: Caitlin Clark is fresh off breaking the all-time women’s college basketball scoring record. Now, she and the 4th-ranked Hawkeyes take on the 14th-ranked Hoosiers in a crucial battle of top Big Ten teams.

Matchup: Tennessee Volunteers vs. LSU Tigers

Date: Sunday, February 25th at 11:00 AM

TV: ESPN

Preview: Angel Reese and the LSU Tigers take on Tennessee in a major battle in the SEC. LSU are the defending national champions and are once again one of the top teams in the country. Both of the teams are near the top of the SEC standings and will hope to win a crucial conference game.
